Dear Jehovah's Witness,

Thank you for checking out our web site. We are born-again Christians who have a burden to see men and women of all religions come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We feel that God has called us to focus a large part of our attention on Jehovah's Witnesses. Its not that we think that you are insincere in your efforts to serve Jehovah, but feel as though you have been misled and taken advantage of by the Watchtower Society.

Do you really feel as though your field service and works are sufficient? Will you ever measure up to Jehovah's standard? The fact is, you can never do enough to please a Holy and Righteous God. Reaching God by your self-efforts is impossible. (Isaiah 64:6, Titus 3:5) It's like jumping across the ocean. One person may jump further than another, but both fall way short. (Romans 3:23) You see, Jesus Christ already built the bridge between you and God. You don't have to jump or swim across that great chasm. Through Christ's death, all of your personal sins are forgiven, not just Adamic sin. (Galatians 1:4, 1 Peter 2:24) You only need to trust Jesus and, by faith, walk across that bridge. (John 14:6, Galatians 2:16) By doing so, you can experience a relationship with God that you never had before. We have heard testimonies of many ex-Witnesses who have repented of their dead works and walked across that bridge into the arms of a loving Father. Their lives have been filled with a joy and peace that they never had as a Jehovah's Witness. What side of that bridge are you on now?

We believe that all spiritual truth can be found within the pages of the bible alone. A sincere seeker, with the Holy Spirit's guidance, can understand God's plan of redemption and attain salvation by reading the Scriptures on his own. (John 14:26) This is in contrast to The Watchtower, 12/1/81, p.27, which states, "Unless we are in touch with this channel of communication that God is using, we will not progress along the road to life, no matter how much bible reading we do". You see, the Watchtower Society does not want you to read the bible and think for yourself. The Watchtower, 1/15/83, p.22, says, "Avoid independent thinking.....questioning the counsel that is provided by God's visible organization". Also, on p.27 of this same magazine it says to "Fight against independent thinking". However, if you would read the bible by itself, you would never come to the doctrinal conclusions taught by the Jehovah's Witnesses. In order to believe their teachings, you have to read piles of Watchtower publications.

For instance, The Watchtower, 2/15/83, p.12, lists four requirements to attain everlasting life. They are: 1) Taking in knowledge 2) Obey God's laws 3) Association with God's channel 4) Loyally advocating his Kingdom rule to others. The way of salvation presented here is in direct contrast to the bible's way. Notice, not one of these requirements mentions faith and belief in Jesus Christ which is exactly what the bible teaches. (John 3:36, 20:31, 1 John 5:13) Another example is written in The Watchtower, 4/1/47, p.204. It says that, "To get one's name written in that Book of Life will depend upon one's works". This is in direct violation of scriptures such as Ephesians 2:8-9 and Titus 3:5 which states that we are not saved by works, but by God's grace through our faith. To add insult to injury, The Watchtower, 8/1/81, p.26, says that,
“Your attitude toward the wheatlike anointed “brothers” of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into “everlasting cutting-off” or receive “everlasting life”.

We know that a decision to leave the Watchtower Society is a huge one. You may leave many close friends and relatives behind. Some, or all, may never speak to you again. Possibly your very own spouse and children. We have a friend who left the Society to follow Jesus. He was shunned for years by all of his brothers and sisters; however, through persistent prayer, every one of them eventually came out of the organization into freedom in Jesus Christ. As difficult as it is, you must be willing to make that decision and be prepared for whatever happens. God will bless you greatly if you do. Remember Jesus' words: "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit everlasting life" ( Matthew 19:29).

Please keep an open mind when reviewing the information at this site. We encourage you to check out the literature presented here on your own. Much of it is probably accessible at your Kingdom Hall library. It is not our intention to ridicule or tear down any individual, but reveal to you material that may help you find new life in Christ. Our hearts are open to you.
